Who is CPI Land? The company behind the projects

CPI Land is a private developer with its office in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur [7]. According to The Edge, it started in 2010 and builds in the Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan [2]. Co-founders named by The Edge include Yeap Teck Hooi [3] and Chung Shan Tat [2], who was described in June 2026 as founder and chairman [5].

Before Tuan Residency, it developed Avantas Residences on Old Klang Road and Serintin in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan [3]. Avantas Residences received a GBI Gold rating, valid from 7 April 2017 to 8 April 2020, with CPI Development Sdn Bhd named as owner [6]. The Tuan series in Kuala Lumpur began with Tuan Residency on Jalan Kuching, launched in 2018 with 577 units [3][4], followed by Tuan 2egacy, a 41-storey block of 596 units on the same road [4]. In Shah Alam it built Dian Residency in Section 13 [9] and Residensi Dian II in Section U1 [10]; in Gombak, CPI Asset Sdn Bhd is building Permata Gemma [8].

Both CPI Land projects on PropertySifu are under construction. Tuan Heritag3 Residency on Jalan Segambut has 1,269 serviced apartments in a single 45-storey block [2]; KPKT registers it as Residensi Warisan Segambut under TNJ Development Sdn Bhd. Tuan Straits Residency in Salak Selatan has 1,310 units in two blocks of 43 and 44 storeys [5]; KPKT registers it as Residensi Warisan Salak Selatan under EC Vantage Sdn Bhd. Each CPI Land project has its own developer company, which is why the KPKT table above lists ten company names.
