Kueen Lai Group of Companies is led by its managing director, Datuk Eng Soo Min [1][2]. A 2013 report says his first business, started in 1983, imported and exported used vehicles, and that he entered property development in 1995 with a freehold site in Kajang [1]. A 2014 report gives 1982 for the first business and 2002 for the move into property, and names Taman Damai Mewah in Semenyih as the group's first development [2].
Its housing projects carry the Tiara name. The Edge described Tiara East in Semenyih in 2013 as 210 two-storey terraced houses and a 244-unit apartment block on 24 acres [1], and Tiara South in 2014 as a 30-acre freehold project in three phases [2]; KPKT registers both, and Tiara Imperio, under Kueen Lai Properties Sdn Bhd.
