Who is Kimlun? The company behind the projects
Kimlun's beginnings go back to 1977, when Kimlun Earthworks Sdn Bhd was incorporated; the company was renamed Kimlun Sdn Bhd in 1994 [1]. Kimlun Corporation Berhad was incorporated as the investment holding company in 2009 and was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on 29 June 2010 [1]. Its principal place of business is in Johor Bahru, and besides property it is a building and infrastructure contractor and a maker of ready-mixed and precast concrete [1]. The executive chairman is Pang Tin @ Pang Yon Tin and the chief executive officer is Pang Khang Hau [1].
Kimlun Land Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 2010, the group took its first development land in Cyberjaya in 2011, and its first project, the Hyve SOHO and offices in Cyberjaya, was launched in 2013 [1]. KPKT registers Hyve (12361-1, 328 units) under Posh Atlantic Sdn Bhd, a former joint venture that became a wholly owned subsidiary when Kimlun Land bought the remaining 49% in 2024 [1]. Bukit Bayu in Seksyen U10, Shah Alam, the project on PropertySifu, is registered under Kimlun Land itself (13708-3, 16 bungalows); the 2025 annual report also lists 19.10 acres there as land bank, in the form of 72 vacant bungalow lots [1].
