Who is Land & General? The company behind the projects
Land & General was incorporated in 1964 as General Lumber (Holdings) and listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1968 [2]. It began as a saw-miller and timber trader, expanded under a new management team in the mid-1980s and took its present name in 1991; its signature property development is the Bandar Sri Damansara township [2]. It trades on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia as L&G (3174) [3] and runs property, education and plantation businesses [1].
The chairman is Dato' Hj Zainal Abidin Bin Putih, chairman since 1 June 2010, and the managing director is Low Gay Teck, in the role since 1 January 2008 [1]. Its largest shareholder, Mayland Parkview Sdn Bhd, held 34.74% according to the 2026 annual report [1]. The head office is at 8trium in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur [1].
Several projects are developed through part-owned companies. Damansara Seresta and Damansara Livista in Bandar Sri Damansara are registered under Sri Damansara Sdn Bhd, which L&G owns fully; The WYN Residences in Bandar Puchong Jaya is under Forward Victory Sdn Bhd, 90% owned; and Astoria Ampang is under Xtreme Meridian Sdn Bhd, 50.01% owned [1]. The Elements on Jalan Ampang was developed through Elite Forward Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company set up with the Mayland Group [4], in which L&G holds 50.01% [1].

KPKT records the project (3981-39, 452 condominium units) with a first sale agreement on 22 July 2018 and a handover deadline of 22 July 2021, extended with approval by 28 months to 22 November 2023. The CCC is dated 23 August 2023, and vacant possession is recorded on 22 and 29 September 2023 for its two blocks; the later date is 54 days before the extended deadline.
