Who is Fiamma? The company behind the projects

Fiamma began on 11 May 1979 with the incorporation of Fiamma Sdn Bhd to distribute electrical household appliances, and Fiamma Holdings Berhad was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on 18 November 1997 [2]. Today the group distributes and services home appliances, sanitaryware, kitchen and wardrobe systems and medical devices, develops residential and commercial property, and leases its two office buildings in Kuala Lumpur, Wisma Fiamma in Bandar Menjalara and Menara Centara on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman [1].

Fiamma entered property development in 2008 by buying two companies with land in Kota Tinggi, Johor; it launched its first project, Menara Centara in Kuala Lumpur, in 2012 and East Parc @ Menjalara in 2016 [2]. Its 2025 annual report lists Menara Centara, East Parc @ Menjalara and Taman Kota Jaya in Kota Tinggi as completed projects, and says the group launched Amberwood Resort Residences in Johor Bahru in May 2025 [1]. East Parc is registered with KPKT under Active Edge Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary [1]. In 2017 Fiamma announced that Pinang Sutera Sdn Bhd, its 60%-owned unit under Fiamma Development Sdn Bhd, would build double-storey semi-detached houses with landowners in Batu Pahat, Johor [3]; KPKT registers three completed phases of eight houses each there under Pinang Sutera, as Taman Suria Permai.

Fiamma's largest shareholders are linked to the Chin Hin group. In May 2022, Chin Hin founder Datuk Seri Chiau Beng Teik and Signature International Berhad, together with Divine Inventions Sdn Bhd, a private company controlled by the Chiau family, agreed to buy a combined 29.59% of Fiamma [4]. BKG Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chin Hin Group Property Berhad, then subscribed for new shares giving it 70% of Dawn Land Sdn Bhd and Aricia Sdn Bhd, completed on 1 March 2025, which cut Fiamma's stake in each to 30%; in April 2025 the two sides signed the same arrangement for Sinaran Urusjuta Sdn Bhd [1]. The projects of those three companies are counted on the Chin Hin Property page, not in the table above.

Datuk Wira Chiau Haw Choon has been executive chairman since 1 July 2026, and Tan Chee Wee (Jimmy) is group chief executive officer [5]. Since 1 December 2025 the company's principal place of business has been Menara Chin Hin in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur [1].
