Asiabina Group describes itself as a developer since 1989 ^[1]. The Edge reported in 2026 that Perak-based Asiabina Holdings Sdn Bhd had been developing property since its inception in 1989, mainly in Perak, Penang and Kedah ^[2]; a sponsored feature by the group gives 1988 as the founding year ^[4]. Its website lists offices in Taiping, Parit Buntar and Pantai Remis in Perak, as well as Penang and Kuala Lumpur ^[1], and businesses beyond housing: shopping malls, hotels, a memorial park business, energy and plantations ^[3]. Its group managing director is Yong Chai Seng ^[4].

Most of its homes in the KPKT register are in the Kerian district of Perak. Taman Kerian Putra, Rumah Perakku @ Taman Kerian Putra and Taman Kerian Sentosa, all on the group's project list ^[1], are registered by Bumi Johan Sdn Bhd (KPKT 8401). Taman Serai Semambu is registered by Suria Takbir Construction Sdn Bhd and Taman Serai Damai by Unajaya Sdn Bhd, both also on that list ^[1]. Asiabina Sdn Bhd, the company named on the group's website ^[1], has three completed projects in Penang in the register.

One Seputeh Residences in Kuala Lumpur, a single 50-storey freehold tower of 383 serviced residences, is the group's first project in the Klang Valley ^[2][5]. KPKT registers it as Residensi Seputeh 1 (30947-1, 383 serviced apartments) under Seputeh Kukuh Sdn Bhd.
