Lum Chang began as a sole proprietorship in the 1940s and describes itself as a construction firm listed on the Singapore Exchange that has expanded into property development, investment, conservation and interior finishing ^[1]. Lum Chang Holdings Limited was incorporated in Singapore on 18 September 1982 and listed on 28 December 1984 ^[2]; it trades on the SGX Mainboard under the symbol L19 ^[3]. Raymond Lum Kwan Sung has been executive chairman since 1984 and is due to become non-executive chairman on 1 January 2027; David Lum Kok Seng is managing director ^[1]. The group's property business spans Singapore, Malaysia and the United Kingdom ^[1]; the KPKT register below covers only its housing projects in Malaysia.

In Malaysia the group develops through Fabulous Range Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary; its Malaysian property operations are led by Cham Kooi Joo, who joined Lum Chang Malaysia in 2002 and became managing director in 2016 ^[1]. The main project is Twin Palms Sungai Long, a 126-acre freehold gated estate in Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang, with 579 homes — bungalows, semi-detached and superlink houses — and nine shop lots ^[1]. KPKT registers 15 projects under Fabulous Range (KPKT 10443-1 to 10443-15), all in Hulu Langat district, with phase names such as TWIN PALMS, SIERRA, LATANIA, WESTIARA and INDICA; the group completed 34 Indica bungalows in April 2026 ^[1].

Next to the estate, Rumah Selangorku at Twin Palms Sungai Long is an affordable-housing project of 236 homes launched in July 2025 ^[1]; KPKT registers a 236-unit project named SUTERA EMBUN under Fabulous Range, still under construction. The other 5 of the 20 records belong to two dormant subsidiaries ^[1]: Venus Capital Corporation Sdn Bhd registered three bungalow projects in Gombak district (KPKT 11062-1 to 11062-3), including TWIN PALMS KEMENSAH, with CCCs in 2014 and 2015, and Nexus Sdn Bhd registered two terraced-house projects in Petaling district, LAMAN SERI and SURIA 618 (KPKT 3552-3 and 3552-4), completed in 2006 and 2007.
