Who is Beverly Group? The company behind the projects

Beverly Group Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Singapore-registered Qingdao Investments Pte Ltd [1]. The company says its founder, Lim Seak Koon, has been in construction and development since 1980, with projects in Singapore, China, Brunei and Malaysia [2]; a 2016 report says the group started out as a civil structure contractor [5], while The Edge in 2021 gave 2014 as the year Beverly Group was founded [6]. Derick Lim was reported as chief executive officer in September 2026 [8].

Its first Malaysian flagship, Marc Residence in Jalan Pinang, KLCC, is a block of 637 serviced apartments launched in 2003 and completed in 2007 [5]; it is not among the records in the table above. In 2013 the group bought a 16.5-acre freehold site in Wangsa Maju [5], now the Quartz WM estate. Lexa Residence (438 serviced apartments) was its first project, developed with Mapletree Investments and Lai Sun Development [5]; Altris Residence was the fourth [6]; and Milla Residence (1,406 units) is the final one [3]. KPKT registers all five Quartz WM projects under Beverly WM Sdn Bhd.

One Equine in Seri Kembangan is developed by Enso Development Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Beverly Group and Singapore-based Surbana Jurong [8]; it has 2,819 serviced apartments and SoHo units in four towers on 11.22 acres of leasehold land [4]. 28 BLVD in Pandan Perdana, which Beverly lists as completed [9], was a 50:50 joint venture with Mapletree Investments, according to a 2016 report [5]; KPKT registers it as 28 Boulevard under Best Boulevard Sdn Bhd. The company says it has acquired 46.29 acres of land in Kuala Lumpur for nine developments with an estimated GDV of RM4.4 billion [2]; that is the company's own count, while the KPKT register above counts housing projects by licence and phase.
