Arte Corp, formerly Nusmetro, is a privately held Malaysian developer with six housing projects in the KPKT register under the five Arte companies we could confirm: three are completed (Arte S and The Oasis in Penang, and a 254-unit Kuala Lumpur project registered under Nusmetro Capital Corp); Arte Star (two phases) and Arte Solaris in Kuala Lumpur are under construction. Who is Arte Corp? The company behind the projects
Arte Corp is the later name of the developer known as Nusmetro [1]. Its shareholders began developing property under the Nusmetro name in Penang — around 1996, according to the company in 2023 [1]; a 2011 report says Thomas Chan, Au Chee Fai and Gary Ho started the company in 1999, with a first project in Jelutong [2]. The company's office is now at Phileo Damansara 1 in Petaling Jaya [3].
The Arte series began in the Klang Valley in 2012 with Arte Kuchai Lama [1]. In Penang, Arte S in George Town was completed in 2018, according to its architect [4]. Arte Solaris in Mont Kiara, launched in 2023, was the first project under the Arte Corp name; its developer, Solaris Ceria Sdn Bhd, is owned by the shareholders behind the Arte brand [1]. Arte Star in Sungai Besi is developed by Suriamega Development Sdn Bhd [5].
The company says it has developed up to RM8 billion of commercial, residential and mixed developments over more than 20 years in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Sabah [6]. Several Arte buildings combine serviced apartments with office or retail space; the KPKT register covers only projects licensed as housing, so not every Arte building appears in the table above.

Yes, according to KPKT. Phase 1 (846 units, first sale agreement 18 October 2024) had a deadline of 18 October 2027, extended with approval by 18 months to 18 April 2029. Phase 2 (996 units, first sale agreement 27 November 2025) had a deadline of 27 November 2028, extended by 18 months to 27 May 2030. Both phases are recorded as on schedule (Lancar).
Was Arte S in Penang handed over on time?
KPKT records the first sale agreement on 15 August 2013 and a handover deadline of 15 August 2016, with no approved extension. The CCC for all three components is dated 2 April 2018, 595 days after that deadline; the register does not record the handover date.
